Some states of mind can’t be reached through words alone. Ketamine, when used in a safe therapeutic setting, can open doors to parts of the self that are otherwise inaccessible. Clients often describe KAP as a powerful reset, helping them move beyond fear, loosen entrenched narratives, or reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose.
I collaborate with Margaret Gold, MD (onespiritwellness.com), who conducts an initial medical evaluation. If ketamine is clinically indicated and there are no contraindications, Dr. Gold may prescribe it as part of a structured course of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
KAP combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine with a supportive psychotherapy process designed to foster insight, emotional flexibility, and relief from entrenched patterns of suffering. A typical course of treatment includes:
Initial 60-minute preparation session
3-hour medicine session with therapeutic support
60-minute integration session to help translate the experience into lasting change
Most treatment courses involve three to six medicine sessions and three to six integration sessions.
